VIRTUAL CMP PREPARATION COURSE

Chairwoman Henry has outlined three key areas of focus this year and one of them is to create more opportunities for NCBMP members to secure their CMPs in 2021. Do you have your CMP? If so, we are in search of instructors for our first virtual CMP Prep Course. The 8 week-virtual Preparation Course will be facilitated by NCBMP members who are experienced CMPs. The virtual course will include pre-recorded lectures and handouts for each domain as well as live weekly Q&A sessions based on that week’s domain.

Instructors will be requested to pre-record a presentation on one CMP domain and facilitate a live Q&A with prep courses. Students will have a practice quiz based on the domain readings.

If you are interested in facilitating a domain, please "press" the button below and provide your top 3 preferred domains. The NCBMP CMP Preparation Course plans to launch in late Spring, so please continue to check our website and social media pages for updates.

The Be Inspired Speaker Series uplifted members during a challenging time and helped promote iconic attractions. “There’s an emotional perspective that isn’t being discussed,” said Jason Dunn, board chairman of NCBMP. Dunn, who serves as GVP of diversity sales and inclusion at the Cincinnati USA Convention & Visitors Bureau, was speaking specifically about the effects of COVID-19, before the current social unrest and Black Lives Matter movement.
